Description:

Award winning, Atlantic Catamaran™ pilothouse design. Layout features midship cockpit for easy short handed sailing. A full visibility pilothouse is aft of the cockpit which includes a duplicate steering station with engine controls and instruments on the starboard side, a navigation area to port and dining table aft.

Fully equipped galley is located in the starboard hull adjacent to the pilot house with a further dining area.

A double cabin is located midships in each hull. A large single cabin is forward in both hulls, and 2 children's berths in the aft port hull.  Each hull contains a head and basin with and a shower in the port hull.

 

Construction: 

Hulls are epoxy/glass sandwich with western red cedar core. Decks and pilot house are constructed from epoxy resin and multi directional-fiberglass laminate cored with Divnycell PVC foam core. All exterior surfaces are painted with AwlGrip™ polyurethane coating Oyster white (2011). The contrasting boot stripe is Metallic silver (2011) and the bottom is Coppercoat (2011) www.coppercoat.com

 

Propulsion and Steering:

Twin Yanmar 3YM30 (28 HP) diesel engines (new 2007)

Dual Type B instrument panels with tachometer, engine monitoring lights, alarms and hour meters installed (2007).

Racor Primary and Yanmar secondary fuel filters.

Dual single lever Kobelt engine controls mounted at the cockpit helm station and pilothouse.

Propellers are Flex o Fold, two blade bronze, folding type

Rudder blades are fiberglass composite, high performance hydrofoil section with carbon fiber rudder stocks turning in low friction bushings

Hydraulic steering, inside and outside stations each with SS destroyer type wheel.

Raymarine ST6002 hydraulic autopilot (2008) with smart remote control (A18105).

 

Daggerboards:

Tanks:

(2) water tanks, 120gallons and 100 gallons each with deck fill and vent.

Port side with hanging lockers and dresser on outboard side of master cabin.

Many drawers and storage areas on both sides. Starboard side bookcases etc.

(Note. We modified the cabin arrangement by having 2 removable bunks fitted in the aft port hull so that as a family of 4 with children of 6 and 8  we could all sleep on the Port side.) When we have guests the starboard side large berth is made up for 2 adults, whilst the large single can accommodate 2 children. This arrangement allows guests to have their own heads and privacy as do we)
